Chili Feed

Daddy made some delicious chili today that is perfect on a cold day. I even ate it all by myself with the spoon.
You gotta try this!
Sometimes though a spoon just won't do and just gotta dig in!

Another Sledding Outing

Before it got REALLY cold out, Daddy took me out for a little sledding trip and to see the animals.
For a few weeks I didn't like the sled but now I love it again!

My Lil' Cupcake

This is my new little cupcake outfit that Grandma Ryan and Uncle Tanner picked out. They gave me a cupcake purse also that was the inspiration for the outfit, but I didn't feel like cooperating with mom to show it in a picture. Maybe another time. My new bouncing zebra is also a Christmas gift from Grandpa and Grandma Ryan. I love to dance while I ride it! So serious!

My year in Review

I started off 2007 in my 5th month of life and things really just seemed to get better and better. I spent a lot of time hanging out in my exersaucer, started to enjoy toys and occassionally slept through the night. I learned to sit up by myself, crawl, walk, dance and run all in 2007. Talk about progression! I even progressed really well with food too, from an all milk diet to rice cereal and baby food to food just like mommy and daddy. I loved food. Papa even called me the "funnel" but now I've decided to be almost as picky as my mommy. I spent a lot of good family time at the cabin, an overnighter in the Twin Cities, and even made it all the way up to Wishek, ND! Hopefully next year I can make it to Osakis with the Ryan family. I attended many weddings this past summer and fall and I even got to be a flowergirl in Uncle Trevor's and Aunt Karla's wedding. My first birthday was a blast. I think my favorite part was Daddy's homemade cake. Lately, I've been busy reading, working on my vocabulary and spending a lot of time imitating others. Lastly, as you may have noticed from some of my more recent pictures, my blocked tear duct finally opened. It only took 15 months but now everyone can see how beautiful those eyes of mine really are. 2007 was a great year and I'm excited to see what new tricks I'll learn in 2008!
